FACTS ABOUT FRUIT FLIES*
The purpose of a fruit fly is to hatch, eat, breed and die and they do all this in about one week.
Each female fruit fly will lay about 500 eggs during her one week of life.
She will lay her eggs on the surface of fermenting fruit, food, beer, wine, liquor, and other moist organic materials. Drains, garbage disposals, empty bottles and cans, trash containers, mops and cleaning rags also provide ideal nurseries for baby fruit flies.
Infestations can originate from a variety of sources including the fresh produce delivered to your business. They can also fly in from the outside through windows and doors.
To eradicate fruit fly infestations, locate all likely breeding areas and clean them up as much as possible then spray them with Bugzilla. Also, spray Bugzilla wherever fruit flies congregate. Bugzilla kills both adults and eggs.
Use Bugzilla as a regular part of your nightly clean up routine.
Spray it and leave it. It cleans up easily and any lingering scent will dissipate overnight. This routine will quickly eliminate infestations and prevent future infestations from developing.
